About the Session

Modelled on the principles of Design Thinking and participatory design, the Connected Health Kit is a powerful mapping tool. It allows to visualise processes in healthcare and identify opportunities to improve the processes and experiences for patients, healthcare professionals and other partners involved. The open-source kit is ideal for co-creation sessions with your multidisciplinary team and applicable to many other industries.

Join this breakout session to learn how to use the Connected Health Kit to zoom in on single problems, or zoom out and evaluate and mature the ecosystem – no matter what your product or industry!

About the Speaker

Ola Kotun

Head of Health at Futurice

Ola is a healthcare expert with a clinical background and a wide range of experience across the healthcare landscape. Her roles have entailed leading and creating initiatives to strategically boost performance by leveraging innovations and technology. She has experience driving end-to-end transformation, change and training projects across organisations in global healthcare systems. Ola is passionate about ensuring patient-centred care in all process cycles.

About the Speaker

Sven-Anwar Bibi

Head of Strategy & Culture at Futurice

Sven has a history in strategy and innovation consulting in the context of analog and digital products and services. Between 2015 and 2020 he established the Connected Living Venture within PwC IXDS GmbH. Joining Futurice in 2020 he since heads Germany's Strategy & Culture Team, supports Biz Dev activities in e.g. Healthcare and is accountable for account and relationship building with nationally and internationally operating companies (e.g. Bosch Healthcare Solutions, Smith+Nephew, SPIE).

In addition to client work he spent half of his professional career involved in teaching and academic research. Sven gained experience in the DACH, Middle East and APAC region as Professor for Product Design and Design Research (lectureships, seminars, workshops). At PwC IXDS he lead a consortium of 3 SMEs and 2 Universities for the research project ProFI, funded by BMBF/DLR.

Jan Schneider

UI/UX Designer at Futurice

Jan focuses on agile collaboration and user needs. As a designer, he sees people and their needs as the basis for sustainable solutions. By doing this, he combines user experience with technology and tools profitably.

Jan is strongest in workshops, where he enables participants to find solutions on their own and thereby achieve the best outcome as a team. With sustainability in mind, he ensures long-lasting decisions for business, people, and environment.

Lead Service Designer at Futurice

Louise supports organizations in creating lovable products, services, and brands. She is passionated about exploring and identifying problems worth solving and translate those into relevant and useful and relevant products and services as well as organisational change like Ways of Working, structures, partnerships, processes and communication.

As a Service Designer you break down complexity and this is why Louise is particularly excited about the health industry - there is a lot of complexity to break down, but also a lot of value to create!
