UX research platforms promise to democratise insights, but how they’re used varies greatly between roles.
In this talk, we’ll explore the distinct ways designers engage with UX research platforms compared to dedicated user researchers. Drawing on practical examples and behavioural patterns, we’ll highlight how differing goals, time constraints, and experience with research methodology shape platform usage.
We’ll also examine how platform features can either bridge or widen the gap between these two UX professionals, also focusing on how they need to cooperate and draw from each other’s strengths.
By the end of the session, attendees will better understand how to support cross-functional teams in making the most of their UX research tools, without compromising either speed or substance.
