First Job on Mars

It’s the year 2024. The UX-centered company HumansOnMars (HoM) is hiring for their first office on Planet Mars and wants to reinvent the way we work. HoM is aware of how complex and challenging it will be, working in a completely new environment and atmosphere. The company therefore decided to hire only existing teams.

HoM is looking for brave, creative and futuristic teams. For the application the teams need to provide a Card Deck with 28 Cards. Each card should clearly describe a work-related must-have for the team to perform even in that new and unstable environment.

In this Breakout Session we will create our application for HoM by iterating, sketching, arguing and prioritizing our 28 must haves. We will leave the useless things behind, take the good stuff on board and envision and create new things.

This session will unlock clear sight on what is really important to us as UX professionals and create surprising insights on quick wins and opportunities to implement even on planet earth.
