Haptic feedback is essential for intuitive and accessible interactions, but most often overlooked in today’s design practice. One of the most daunting challenges is to build functional prototypes of active haptics in order to evaluate the design and reach a proof of concept. Participants will learn the basics of the haptic perception, how we can leverage haptics inside everyday applications and how start designing tangible interactions from a blank page.
Part of this session includes hands-on prototyping and exploration of rumbling wearables, purring wallets and clicky buttons. Come by and get buzzing - No prior knowledge is required!
