What is AI for Designers

The terms Machine learning and AI have been added to the vocabulary of the design community for some time. It is quite common to see it being placed in products as a magic black box to enable powerful sci-fi features. Or even as a feature itself.

As any technology, AI is a material for designers to enable experiences. While AI can be a thrilling promise, as any other material, it has properties and limitations. To unleash the full potential of it, one must understand where and how it can be used in a product and service.
