Ways to be involved
1 – Before the event
2 days of PUSH require 9 months of work upfront. Let us know if you'd like to join the preparation before the event. This is a great fit if your strengths and interests are in communications or marketing, planning, curation, visual design, interior design or similar areas.
2 – At the event
As volunteer at the event, you’re part of setting up and running PUSH UX on site in October. Tasks range from setting up and decorating the venue, supporting exhibitors, checking in guests and hosting guests and speakers throughout the event days.
Setup happens on Oct 18 and the event days are Oct 19 and 20. We prefer if you can support us on all 3 days to limit training and coordination, and to let that great group vibe develop!
What's in it for me?
As a volunteer, you'll receive a free 2 day pass for PUSH conference, catering during all three onsite days and relevant experience based on your interests. If you’re not based in Munich, we might also be able to help with accommodation.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
The only requirements are teamwork, diligence and the ability to collaborate in English. We have a range of tasks and activities available. Tell us about your skills and interests and we will try and match you to the part of PUSH that fit best!
How much of the talks will I see?
We make sure to have a larger number of volunteers than required, so you’ll be able to see most talks (7–8 out of 9 per day) live as an audience member. Plus you can always watch the ones you miss as recording after the event!
