About the Session

It’s no secret that running user research will make your product better. But how do you make sure you’re not leaving anyone out when optimizing the user experience? Working with people with disabilities in product research is a great way to ensure your product is inclusive and will work for everyone.

In this session, Kate (Head of Services) and Sam (Accessibility Evangelist) from Fable talk about the things to consider when planning and running user research studies with people with disabilities. Then, Kate will run a short user interview with Sam, who uses a screen reader to navigate the web. This session will share tips about running user research with assistive technology users and demonstrate how it works in practice.
